3D FDM printing materials

At Bitfab we offer a wide variety of 3D printing polymers to manufacture your parts with the optimal properties and cost.

Print in PLA

PLA is the most versatile, popular and economical 3D printing material. It offers the best finishes and the widest variety of colors available with up to 16 available shades.

PLA has good rigidity, but for prototypes or components subject to stress and temperature it is surpassed by other materials with better properties such as PETG. 

Print on PETG

PETG is a 3D printing material indicated for parts that are going to experience moderate stress, when PLA is not enough.

PETG resists impacts, stress and temperature better than PLA. It is also sterilizable and resistant to chemicals. If you are interested in manufacturing parts in PETG.

 

Materials on request

In addition to the standard materials with which we usually work on most orders (PLA and PETG) we can offer a wide range of special materials adapted to your project.

These materials offer improved properties for advanced use cases. They typically have longer lead times and prices than projects made with our standard materials:

ABS

ABS is a printing material with good mechanical and thermal properties. It can be post-processed and pasted with acetone. We have also talked about ABS on the 3d printing blog recommending when to use it.

Due to the warping and cracking problems that ABS has, it is not indicated for the manufacture of large parts.

TPU

TPU is a flexible 3D printing material for making elastic parts that behave like rubber. 

Nylon

For parts with higher mechanical and temperature requirements we use Nylon PA6 reinforced with fiberglass load.

It is the material with the best resistance, rigidity and resistance to temperature in our catalog. 

Best 3D FDM Printing Materials:

We use only a few suppliers of 3D printing material, and they are all well-known manufacturers of premium filament.

We make sure to always use the same references to keep the colors and properties of our pieces consistent over time. Order a piece today or in a year we will manufacture it with the same material and you will receive the same color and resistance. 

SLA / DLP printing service

Online 3D printing SLA / DLP (resin) on own machines.

The resin impression is a high resolution impression used for prototypes with very close tolerances, dental industry, jewelry, miniatures ...
